Role Summary:

The Facilities & Safety Lead is responsible for ensuring operational stability and compliance with occupational safety and health standards. This role serves as the designated Safety Officer 3 (SO3) as mandated by DOLE, overseeing workplace safety programs, risk assessments, and emergency preparedness. Additionally, the role manages facilities maintenance, security, and housekeeping services to ensure a safe, efficient, and compliant work environment.

 

Duties and Responsibilities:

As Admin and Compliance Lead

  • Occupational Safety & Health Compliance
    • Serve as full-time Safety Officer 3 (SO3) per DOLE requirements.
    • Conduct safety inspections, risk assessments (HIRAC), and OSH training.
    • Lead the Safety & Health Committee and ensure 100% compliance with DOLE standards.
  • Facilities Management
    • Oversee preventive and corrective maintenance for building systems (HVAC, plumbing, electrical).
    • Ensure >90% completion rate for Planned Preventive Maintenance (PPM).
    • Respond to corrective maintenance requests within 24 hours.
    • Asset and Facilities Supply Management
  • Security & Housekeeping
    • Supervise security guard contracts and access control systems.
    • Oversee outsourced housekeeping/janitorial services and maintain 90% compliance on service audits.
    • Ensure zero security breaches or major property theft.
  • Emergency Preparedness
    • Develop and implement emergency response plans.
    • Coordinate fire drills and evacuation exercises in compliance with BFP and DOLE requirements.

Direct reports:

This role oversees a core Facilities and Safety team composed of four members: one Housekeeping Supervisor responsible for maintaining cleanliness and hygiene standards, one Security-in-Charge who manages access control and security protocols, and one Multi-skilled Technician who handles preventive and corrective maintenance for building systems and equipment. This structure ensures comprehensive coverage of housekeeping, security, and safety, supporting operational continuity and compliance with regulatory requirements.
