Financial Modelling Manager

 

Job Purpose

The Financial Modelling Manager will be responsible for designing, building, and maintaining best-in-class financial models to support strategic decision-making across the Group. This role will play a critical part in enabling data-driven insights, evaluating investment opportunities, and supporting commercial and operational initiatives.

Key Responsibilities

  • Build and maintain robust financial models for forecasting, scenario planning, and investment appraisal. Be responsible for the upkeep, roll over and actualisation of the long-term planning model and Cash EBITDA model, and short-term centre- and country-level forecasting models
  • Support strategic projects, including M&A, partnerships, and new market entries, with financial modelling and analysis.
  • Partner with senior finance leaders and business teams to provide data-driven insights and recommendations.
  • Ensure modelling standards, governance, and documentation are in line with best practices.
  • Deliver sensitivity analysis and stress testing to inform key business decisions.
  • Support training and upskilling of wider finance teams in financial modelling techniques.
  • Support the transition to short-mid term forecasting in Oracle Planning

 Required Skills, Experience & Qualifications

  • Qualified accountant or Accounting Degree (ACA, ACCA, CIMA, or equivalent).
  • Proven experience in financial modelling, investment appraisal, or corporate finance.
  • Experience working in a global, fast-paced business environment preferred.
  • Advanced Excel and financial modelling skills (VBA, Power BI or similar an advantage).
  • Experience of EPMs (eg Oracle Planning) highly desirable
  • Excellent communication skills, with ability to present complex information clearly to non-financial stakeholders.
