The role


The ServiceNow Junior Platform Consultant will lead efforts to identify business needs, manage
requirements, design technical solutions, and provide strategic consultation on process design, flow
mapping, and system enhancements. The role is responsible for ensuring that business requirements
are effectively translated into actionable system solutions. This includes managing stakeholder
relationships, guiding them through the process of implementing improvements, and offering expert
advisory services on platform capabilities.

Role and responsibilities

  • Analyse and define business requirements, translating them into well-structured system
    solutions that align with organizational objectives.
  • Lead consultations on high-level requirements to assess the value, fit, and potential need for
    new platform features, licenses, and modules.
  • Provide expert guidance on the design, prototyping, and process mapping of ServiceNow
    solutions.
  • Collaborate with internal stakeholders to ensure solutions meet business needs and align
    with technical constraints.
    Offer technical advisory services to support the successful implementation of ServiceNow
    enhancements.
  • Manage relationships with stakeholders to ensure clarity on project status and delivery
    timelines.
  • Coordinate communication between internal stakeholders and platform teams to ensure
    alignment on business requirements and project outcomes.
  • Oversee the ServiceNow demand process to prioritize and align requests with strategic
    objectives.
  • Demonstrate product and technical expertise throughout ServiceNow engagements,
    ensuring that proposed solutions maximize platform capabilities.
  • Provide insights on best practices for platform utilization, ensuring the organization makes
    full use of the ServiceNow ecosystem.
  • Stay informed on emerging ServiceNow features and modules, offering strategic
    recommendations for platform expansion.
  • Work closely with a team of technical and functional analysts, solution architects, and
    delivery managers to ensure successful delivery of ServiceNow projects.
  • Engage with cross-functional teams to continuously improve processes and optimize
    platform use

Qualifications /Skills / Experience

  • Bachelor's degree in computer science, Data Analytics, Business Management, Accounting,
    Finance, Process Improvement or similar field of study
  • Profound professional experience in IT Consulting (minimum 2 years' experience)
  • Experience as a ServiceNow consultant (2 years)
  • Experience working with the ServiceNow platform including designing and implementing
    solutions and fundamental understanding of the relevant key technologies.
  • Experience in one of the following modules (ITSM or CSM) or with CMDB or integrations is
    mandatory.
  • Experience implementing and managing ITSM or ITIL processes in a multinational company.
  • ITIL foundations is a must. ITIL expert is a plus.
  • Experience working in Agile methodologies is a plus.
  • Good negotiation, communication and presentation skills
  • Exposure and working level knowledge of working with and interfacing to global delivery
    teams.
  •  Excellent English communication and executive level presentation skills
  • Proven ability to develop strong relationships with stakeholders both internally and
    externally.
  • Organised and analytical/data mind-set
  • Outcome-oriented. Not reactionary, articulates the desired outcome and works
    collaboratively to create a path to achieve it
  • Ability to quickly absorb technical concepts and effectively simplify and communicate them
    to a non-technical audience.
  • Experience of working in a global and multi-cultural environment and have appetite for fast
    paced organizations with global delivery / reach.
  • Dynamic working approach, ‘agile’ rapid delivery approach to planning projects, and the
    ability to think innovatively to solve problems.
  • Can demonstrate initiative and ownership of issues through to resolution / completion.
