The role

As a Business Process Specialist / Business Analyst, you will be responsible for reviewing, analysing and evaluating the business needs across Accounts Receivable business domains, gaining a deep understanding of IWG from a both business and technology perspective

  • Performing detailed requirements analysis, documenting processes, defining scope and
    objectives of the product responsible in close collaboration with the Business and key
    stakeholders
  • Bridging any gap between the business, technical and testing teams, devising solutions that
    will meet the business needs
  • The projects cover the following areas: improvements of our payments and collections, cash
    allocation and reconciliation

This senior role will participate in and work alongside the project team to transform business cases
raised by the Senior Leadership Team (SLT) into an executable transformation roadmap.

Key Responsibilities

  • Understand the strategic objectives of the projects and translate them into actionable
    requirements 
  • Drive identification of requirements across business units, collaborate with business sand key
    stakeholders to define the requirements scope
  • Build and evaluate business processes, carry out analysis of present processes and identify
    opportunities to enhance processes
  • Create a detailed business analysis, outline any challenges and opportunities for the business
  • Prepare process models, diagrams and workflow charts by studying systems capabilities
  • Analyse and verify requirements for completeness, consistency and feasibility
  • Convert an idea into a clear, well thought through set of requirements that a Designer,
    Developer or Project Manager can turn into specific work packages
  • Translate conceptual requirements into functional requirements and detailed user stories in
    a clear manner that is comprehensible
  • Involve stakeholders and get approvals on the documentation
  • Develop and utilize standard templates to write high quality requirements specifications
    accurately and concisely, maintaining all documentation
  • Manage and track the status of requirements throughout the project lifecycle, enforce and
    redefine as necessary
  • Support the project team and actively participate during the implementation of the projects
  • Identify synergies within the different projects IWG is willing to implement and clearly identify
    dependencies

Qualifications /Skills / Experience

  • Experience in customer payments, credit card processing, bank reconciliations and collections
    is highly valued
  • University degree (technical or business related)
  • 5+ years Business Process Specialist / Business Analyst experience
  • Demonstrate Business Analyst training and certifications
  • Excellent English listening, interpersonal, written and oral communication skills
  • 5 years experience in working within accounts receivable processes (invoicing, cash
    collection/payments (credit card, direct debt), cash allocations and dunning.
  • Ability to quickly absorb technical concepts and effectively simplify and communicate them to
    a non-technical audience
  • Excellent communicator with the ability to translate data into actionable insights
  • Experience working in a team-oriented, collaborative environment (often a distributed virtual
    team)
  • Experience of working in a global and multi-cultural environment and have appetite for fast paced organizations with global delivery / reach
  • The ability to influence stakeholders and work closely with them to determine acceptable
    solutions
  • Strong working knowledge of relevant applications (e.g., JIRA, Confluence, LeanIX, MS Visio,
    Lucid Charts)
  • Proven development of innovative and impactful systems solutions
  • Practical experience generating process documentation and reports and good knowledge of
    business modelling terminology
  • Ability to demonstrate taking initiative and ownership to see items through to completion

  • Experience working with Executive and C-Level Management
  • Dynamic working approach and the ability to think innovatively to solve problems
  • Good business judgment, a comfortable, open communication style, and a willingness and
    ability to work with customers and teams

What you’ll need to succeed

We are looking for a business-focused Senior Business Process Specialist / Business Analyst with a solid track record in software change projects. The role is crucial to successful software delivery, it can interface with multiple systems and might require a coordinated integration design, or a similar requirement deployed independently across more than one application. Ideally, they will have a deep understanding of system capabilities, limitations and the ability to write requirements to support business / end user cases.

The right candidate will be experienced in partnering with senior internal stakeholders. They will be proactive and take accountability, and adept at communicating their thinking to all levels of the business, from CIO down. They’ll anticipate business challenges and requirements, be creative in providing tailored solutions, and engage key stakeholders and team members throughout the project lifecycle
