Job Purpose

The Senior Financial Analyst supports the reporting and operational activities of the IWG Partners Reporting team. This role is primarily responsible for analyzing partner centre financial performance, preparing insightful commentaries, and ensuring the timely and accurate submission of financial reports to partners and landlords, in accordance with contractual terms.

 

Key Responsibilities

  • Review and analyze partner centre profit and loss statements, providing clear explanations for significant variances and balances.
  • Identify and coordinate the correction of posting errors with relevant teams to ensure accuracy and data integrity.
  • Prepare and deliver timely, accurate reports to business reviewers, partners, and landlords.
  • Generate invoices, statements of account, and other required financial reports to facilitate payments to partners and landlords.
  • Review lease and management agreements, interpreting key financial provisions for use in partner or landlord reports.
  • Address inquiries from business reviewers, partners, and landlords within agreed service level timelines.
  • Coordinate with auditors for agreed-upon procedures to validate calculations and amounts payable to partners and landlords.
  • Reconcile submitted reports with the general ledger and provide supporting documentation for audit purposes.
  • Collaborate with Group Finance, local finance teams, and Partnership Performance teams to ensure high-quality, timely deliverables.
  • Partner with other Global Shared Services teams, supporting external auditors and legal authorities as needed.
  • Maintain comprehensive and up-to-date process documentation to support operational excellence and audit readiness.

 

Qualifications

  • Minimum of seven (7) years of experience in Financial Reporting and Analysis.
  • Background in a blue-chip multinational or shared services environment preferred.
  • Demonstrated experience working with global teams and financial stakeholders.
  • Certified Public Accountant (CPA) or equivalent qualification preferred.
  • Strong proficiency in Microsoft Excel and familiarity with various accounting applications.
  • Excellent command of the English language, both written and verbal.

Working Conditions

  • Regular work schedule: 10:00 AM to 7:00 PM (Monday to Friday).

 

Onsite Requirements

  • Onsite daily during the first month of employment.
  • Thereafter, onsite three (3) times per month as part of a hybrid working arrangement.
