Treasury Analyst

Location: Warsaw, Poland or Prague, Czech Republic

Duration: Permanent Full Time 

Reporting Line: Treasury Manager

 

Job Purpose

The candidate will be a Treasury professional who is looking for their next role to further develop and enhance their skills in Treasury. This role will report directly to the Treasury Manager and support in delivering the Treasury function’s objectives.

Key Responsibilities

  • Treasury Operations – Cash management:
    • Update and review the Group’s cash forecast.
    • Review the daily cash position and manage the funding and/or investment strategy to reduce cost and maximise returns for the Group.
    • Execution of Foreign Exchange and Investments dealing.
    • Support the Treasury Manager on the co-ordination of the cash repatriation process.
    • Assist with any projects associated to the improvement of the Group’s cash management processes.
  • Relationship Management - Work with the Treasury team to build and maintain relationships with key internal stakeholders.
  • Intercompany Loan Management – Monitor compliance and documentation of the Group’s intercompany loan portfolio.
  • Business Unit Support - ensure that all business units are supported in all Treasury matters and aware of Group Treasury policies and procedures. Including supporting the Deputy Group Treasury Director and Treasury Manager in managing the internal funding of Group entities in collaboration with Group Tax and the GSC.
  • Policies & Procedures - work with the Treasury Manager to ensure any Treasury processes are documented and those documents are maintained.
  • Reporting – deliver the following reporting requirements: -
    • Daily reporting on cash positions for approvals on investments and foreign exchange dealing.
    • Benchmarking reports such as the competitiveness of the Group’s banks Foreign Exchange pricing.
  • Treasury Innovation – Collaborate with key stakeholders to optimise treasury processes and treasury systems.

Required Skills, Experience & Qualifications

  • Degree educated
  • 2-3 years global corporate treasury experience in a multi-country organisation
  • Previous experience of FX and international cash management is essential
  • A collaborative mindset, able to work across multiple teams both internally and externally
  • An inquisitive and creative mindset, good organisational skills and a “can-do” attitude.
