About the Role
This is a full-time Accounting Manager role located in Geneva. The Accounting Manager will be responsible for managing financial statements, journal entries, fixed assets, and overseeing financial functions. This role involves on-site responsibilities.
Responsibilities :
• Enter, check, and post invoices, payments, various transactions, and complex accounting records.
• Perform bank reconciliations and periodic closings (monthly, quarterly, yearly).
• Prepare financial statements, balance sheets, income statements, and analysis reports.
• Update accounting procedures and ensure compliance with the chart of accounts.
• Respond to internal and external requests (auditors, management, tax authorities).
• Advise management on financial, tax, and internal control matters.
Qualifications :
• Commercial training (CFC in commercial employee), Swiss Federal Diploma in Accounting or equivalent qualification.
• 3 to 5 years of professional experience in a similar position in Switzerland.
Required Skills :
• Proficiency in one or more accounting software programs (ideally Zoho Books, but not mandatory) and Office tools, particularly Excel.
• Solid knowledge of general and analytical accounting, tax law, and VAT management.
• Fluent in French and English.
• Accuracy, organizational skills, team spirit, autonomy, and ability to meet deadlines.
