Role Summary:

The Administrative & Compliance Lead is responsible for managing core administrative functions, IT asset management, and ensuring full compliance with environmental regulations as mandated by DENR. This role serves as the Pollution Control Officer (PCO) and acts as the primary liaison for business permits and regulatory compliance, while overseeing front desk and general office support services. In addition, the role provides leadership to a team of four, including front desk/reception staff, IT service desk personnel, and messenger services. The Lead ensures that the team operates efficiently, maintains high service standards, and supports organizational goals through structured processes and collaboration.

 

Duties and Responsibilities:

As Admin and Compliance Lead

  • Pollution Control & Environmental Compliance
    • Ensure compliance with DENR regulations (RA 9275, RA 8749, RA 6969).
    • Prepare and submit SMR reports and manage permits for hazardous waste.
    • Maintain zero environmental compliance notices or fines.
  • LGU Permit Renewals & Regulatory Compliance
    • Oversee LGU permit renewals for GSC and other IWG centers, including coordination with outsourced vendors.
    • Ensure Guarantee timely submission of all required documents for business permits and licenses.
    • Monitor renewal status and compliance deadlines to prevent penalties.
  • IT Service Desk & Asset Management
    • Oversee first-line IT support and manage IT equipment inventory.
    • Ensure accurate asset tracking and procurement processes.
    • Achieve and sustain over 95% IT asset accountability.
  • General Administration
    • Supervise front desk/reception and messenger services.
    • Maintain high internal satisfaction scores for admin services.
    • Act as the primary point of contact for floor capacity planning, ensuring optimal space utilization aligned with organizational needs.

Qualifications and Experience:

  • Bachelor’s degree in business administration, Engineering, Environmental Science, or related field.
  • Pollution Control Officer certification (or willingness to obtain).
  • Basic Occupational Safety and Health (BOSH) certification is an advantage but not mandatory
  • Minimum 5 years’ experience in admin operations and compliance.
  • Strong knowledge of DENR regulations and LGU permit processes.

Direct reports:

Four team members including one (1) front desk/reception staff, two (2) IT service desk personnel, and one (1) messenger services, forming the core administrative support team. The structure ensures coverage of reception, IT troubleshooting, and document handling to maintain smooth office operations.
