Cost Analyst

Key Objectives:

  • Cost Analysis and Reporting
    • Comprehensive Cost Analysis: Conduct detailed cost analysis across all areas, including facilities, operations, investment logistics, warehousing, and project management
    • Budget Monitoring: Monitor budgets and expenditures to ensure alignment with financial goals
    • Financial Reporting: Prepare and present financial reports to the COO/CEO, highlighting key insights and recommendations
  • Budget Management
    • Budget Development: Assist in the development of budgets for all departments and projects
    • Variance Analysis: Perform variance analysis to identify discrepancies between budgeted and actual expenditures
    • Cost Control: Implement cost control measures to ensure efficient use of resources
  • Operational Efficiency
    • Benchmarking: Conduct benchmarking studies to compare costs and performance against industry standards
  • Investment Analysis
    • ROI Analysis: Evaluate the return on investment (ROI) for various projects and initiatives
    • Cost-Benefit Analysis: Perform cost-benefit analysis to support decision-making for new investments

KPIs:

  • Cost Analysis and Reporting
    • Accuracy of Reports: Percentage of financial reports delivered accurately and on time
    • Insightful Analysis: Number of actionable insights and recommendations in financial reports
  • Budget Management
    • Budget Adherence: Percentage of departments and projects adhering to budget
    • Variance Reduction: Reduction in budget variances over time
    • Realised Savings: Amount of cost savings achieved through budget management and cost control measures
  • Investment Analysis
    • ROI Achievement: Percentage of projects achieving or exceeding expected ROI
    • Cost-Benefit Analysis Accuracy: Accuracy of cost-benefit analyses in predicting financial outcomes
  • Supply Chain and Logistics
    • Cost Reduction: Reduction in supply chain and logistics costs
    • Vendor Performance: Percentage of vendors meeting performance and cost
