Country Sales Lead - Caribbean (Puerto Rico / Dominican Republic based)

 

Job Purpose

The Country Sales Lead has dual responsibility across sales and operations in the Caribbean. They will be at the forefront of our ambitious global expansion whilst also being an exceptional operational leader.

You will join our team of over 200 Partnership Sales Leads and you’ll get to harness your entrepreneurial mindset, strong business and financial acumen, and commitment to achieving outstanding business development results as we add to the over 1,000 deals in 50+ countries closed in the past year alone.

Additionally, you will have responsibility for the performance of the existing business and must maximise Operating Profit, Return on Investment and Return on Cash from the existing Base Business in your area.  

Key Responsibilities

  • Agree high-value deals to deliver inspiring new partner locations, leveraging your expertise to expand the IWG network in the Caribbean
  • Generating awareness and visibility of the IWG partnership proposition in the market, being a strong brand ambassador, network with the local business communities to gain market intelligence and generate sales leads
  • Converting commercial discussions into signed contracts with the support of the IWG legal team
  • Spending a significant amount of time in the field, generating leads, meeting customers and closing deals
  • Maximize revenues by increasing conversion of sales leads, retention of existing customers and increasing margin
  • Spend time with existing customers to improve customer satisfaction and look for opportunities to sell additional products and services
  • Understand the local market to ensure pricing is competitive
  • Understand the external competitive environment to inform our plans
  • Selling space across existing and new centres in the Country, using your negotiation skills to build important long-lasting relationships and close deals while always looking for that next lead
  • Continually assess your market and pro-actively hunt for new business
  • Recruits, trains, develops, manages, leads and measures productivity of the area team
  • Monitors performance and provides feedback/ appraisals and coaching to all direct reports

Required Skills, Experience & Qualifications

  • Sales leader with a B2B Solution Selling background, driving new business development with a HUNTER mentality.
  • Strong sales and commercial track record of driving profitable growth
  • Tangible track record of driving the top line sales growth, improving results month by month
  • Pro-active approach to networking within business communities to generate new leads
  • Proven ability to develop, manage, track, and close sales and pipeline opportunities
  • Motivated, self- reliant, ambitious, and looking to join a team with significant growth aspirations
  • Ability to motivate and drive teams, whilst ensuring they have the right resources, and are trained properly
  • Monitor and measure performance through accurate and timely reports
  • Professional and clear communication skills coupled with the ability to network at a high level and build strong business relationships
