Data Specialist – Analytics and Process Automation

Job Location: You can be based in any Eastern European Country or India.

Job Purpose

The goal of the role is to transform the Network Growth data and analytics function to highly optimise the processes and reporting of a global sales team.

This role’s integral part in that team is to build, and continually improve, the data analysis, processes and report automation that create actionable insights into a highly dynamic and fast paced function.

We are looking for a skilled VBA developer and excel application designer who wants to transform the pace of delivery and overall team efficiency in a high growth business, with their work being visible to business CEO and SLT.

Key Responsibilities

Application Development (VBA required, SQL / Python optional)

• Develop advanced Excel-based applications and tools.
• Train end-users on the efficient use of Excel tools
• Ensure all Excel-based tools are user-friendly and meet business requirements.

Report and Process Automation

• Through application development, develop and maintain automated report generation
• Creating procedures & jobs needed for report automation
• Creating workflow automations within Microsoft to automate tasks and data flows
• Working with team and other colleagues to maintain data and report integrity

Data visualisation

• Utilising standard data sets to generate PowerBI dashboards and visualisations

Required Skills, Experience & Qualifications

• Education: Bachelor’s or Master’s degree (Business, Finance, IT or related fields).
• Certification: Proof of business level proficiency in VBA (SQL & Python optional).
• Advanced user of the full Microsoft Office 365 suite, especially the Power Platform.
• Familiarity with Excel integration with databases and other systems.
• Ability to troubleshoot and debug Excel issues efficiently.
• Solid understanding of data analysis and visualization principles.
• Strong attention to detail with a focus on data accuracy.
• Proven ability to undertake projects from initial inception through to completion.
• Excellent communication skills to collaborate with cross-functional teams.
• Prioritises well, and consistently delivers against tight deadlines.
• Team player with high level of professional integrity.
• Comfortable with ambiguity and prepared to work in an agile and flexible way
