FP&A Manager - Cash & Capex

 

Job Purpose

The FP&A Manager – Cash and Capex will play a key role in managing Group cash flow and capital expenditure forecasting, reporting, and analysis. This individual will provide critical insights to senior leadership, ensuring that investment decisions are underpinned by robust financial analysis and that cash generation remains at the heart of IWG’s financial strategy.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead Group-wide cash flow forecasting from an FP&A lens, ensuring accurate and timely reporting.
  • Own the capital expenditure forecasting and review process across the business.
  • Partner with Operations, Fit out, and Commercial teams to ensure provide detailed capital expenditure analysis.
  • Deliver regular analysis and insights on cash and capex performance versus plan.
  • Support long-range planning and scenario modelling, with focus on liquidity and funding requirements. Liaise with Treasury to ensure conformity between treasury direct cashflow projections, and FP&A indirect cashflow projections
  • Strengthen governance and control around cash forecasting and capex approval processes.
  • Develop and maintain tools, models, and reporting frameworks for cash and investment decision-making.
  • Develop reporting suites to monitor payments and collections discipline

Required Skills, Experience & Qualifications

  • Qualified accountant or Accounting Degree (ACA, ACCA, CIMA, or equivalent).
  • Strong FP&A, treasury, or corporate finance experience in a global, multi-site organisation.
  • Proven track record of managing cash flow forecasting.
  • Advanced financial modelling and Excel skills; experience with BI/forecasting tools desirable.
  • Strong analytical skills with ability to identify risks and opportunities.
  • Excellent communication and influencing skills, with ability to challenge stakeholders constructively..
