HFM Support Consultant

Job Purpose

IWG is seeking an experienced HFM Consultant with strong expertise in managing and supporting Oracle Hyperion Financial Management (HFM) systems. Skilled in delivering seamless project execution and providing comprehensive support for month-end, quarter-end, half-year, and year-end financial closings. Proficient in troubleshooting, end-user training, implementing enhancements, and ensuring system performance and availability. Proven ability to take full ownership of production Hyperion support and effectively manage stakeholder requirements with timely delivery.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage the HFM application and ensure smooth financial reporting processes.
• Provide end-to-end support for month, quarter, half-year, and year-end financial closes. 
• Design, develop, and maintain HFM business rules, metadata structures, and account setups as per business needs. 
• Manage period opening and closing activities to facilitate reporting. 
• Carry out metadata building processes for month-end and year-end closing. 
• Create and maintain critical accounts and ICP mappings within the system. 
• Provide functional support and training to end users on HFM functionality. 
• Ensure optimal system performance and perform regular application backups. 
• Maintain maximum uptime and availability of Hyperion applications. 
• Resolve tickets and service requests within agreed SLAs. 
• Identify and resolve critical validation errors in a timely manner. 
• Validate accuracy of data through correct mapping from source systems. 
• Administer user access and security management in FDQM, HFM, and Smart View. 
• Communicate effectively with stakeholders during downtime or planned outages; monitor production server services. 
• Handle consolidation, translation, journal adjustments, and entity promotions/demotions in HFM. 
• Flexible to work in US shifts and provide 24/7 Hyperion support for business-critical operations as required.
