M&A Finance Business Partner

Location: This role can be based in any Eastern European Country

Job Purpose

This role is focused on the corporate development activity of the Digital and Professional Services division – specifically focused on channel collaborations and partnerships. The activity is being set up and the volume of work and commercial potential are high.

Key Responsibilities

Analysing, reporting, and driving corporate development activities and initiatives (including channel relationships, partnerships and joint ventures) as well as driving improvements in reporting processes and quality and scope of management information relating to these transactions.

  • Working directly for the Corporate Development Director helping to set up our Channel relationships, contracts and partnerships
  • Ability to understand strategic direction, critique accordingly and focus on the right KPIs and contractual relationship to drive value
  • Analyzing business plans and investment cases and JV structures with associated commercial models
  • Assist in shaping and driving transactions, due diligence, negotiations from concept through to execution and post completion activity and performance
  • Creation of MI to support decision making of C suite team across the division and IWG Group
  • Produce growth and profitability forecast and analysis with C suite level relevant insight

 

Required skills, Experience & Qualifications

  • Qualified (ACA/ACCA) with 3+ years PQE, working in a dynamic team within a rapidly growing international business, where change is rapid, and deadlines are tight. ​​
  • The candidate will have a proven record of leading high performing M&A/corporate development/ JV creation activity and be technically strong (tax, financial accounting, treasury).​​
  • High output focused individual
  • Experience of implementing and improving exceptional finance systems and processes
  • Ability to cope with pressure, tight deadlines, high expectations, ambiguity and change
  • Performance and improvement focusedPrioritises well consistently delivers against tight deadlines.   
  • Team player with high level of professional integrity.   
  • Excellent analytical skills with a passionate attitude to problem solving. 
  • Strong attention to detail.  
  • Comfortable with ambiguity and prepared to work in an agile and flexible way.
