Program Manager

We are open to applications from across Europe for this role

We are seeking an energetic, commercially minded Program Manager to play a central role in delivering IWG’s flagship transformation initiative: the Center & Customer Simplification Program.

This end-to-end program spans all parts of the business, from how centres can be design and built to improve operational efficiency, right the way through to how back-office processes around customer payments or account management impact our community teams. With eight major workstreams and more than 100 projects, it is one of the most impactful initiatives in IWG’s history.

The Program Manager will maintain the overall transformation roadmap, coordinate activity across global workstreams, helping to manage weekly steerco’s, influence senior stakeholders, and drive selected projects directly (particularly where process improvement and operating model design are required).

This is not a “classic PMO” role; we are looking for a commercially sharp, business-savvy change leader who thrives in fast-paced, complex environments, who can deliver independently as well as manage others to deliver on time.

Key Responsibilities

Program Coordination & Governance

  • Maintain the end-to-end transformation roadmap, ensuring alignment across all program workstreams, with specific milestones and regular updates.
  • Provide structured governance, including managing the weekly steerco to track milestones, identifying risks and dependencies, and ensuring clear reporting.
  • Get things done with process driven, well-structured projects, delivering clear business impact.

Commercial & Strategic Impact

  • Bring strong commercial thinking to programme decisions, ensuring recommendations balance operational efficiency, IT delivery, customer impact, and financial outcomes.
  • Actively challenge business assumptions and drive clarity in decision-making, ensuring our newly defined operating model vision is embedded as a guiding principle in all process and design decisions
  • Support senior leaders in prioritising initiatives that deliver the greatest organisational value.

Process & Operating Model Design

  • Lead selected projects within the program, particularly those involving process redesign or customer/centre operating model changes.
  • Partner with operational teams to design streamlined, scalable processes that eliminate unnecessary work in IWG centres.
  • Support the adoption of best-practice ways of working that enable exponential global growth.

Stakeholder Engagement & Influence

  • Collaborate with global leaders across Operations, Product, Fit Out, Finance, Customer Services and Technology.
  • Ensure alignment and accountability across workstreams, acting as a trusted advisor to leadership.

Required Skills, Experience & Qualifications

  • Proven experience as a Program Manager or Senior Project Manager delivering complex, transformative change across multiple stakeholders.
  • Strong commercial awareness — able to understand business drivers, evaluate trade-offs, and guide decisions with a commercial lens.
  • Experience influencing senior leaders and driving alignment in fast-moving environments.
  • Demonstrated capability in process improvement, operating model design, or business simplification.
  • Exposure to AI-enabled transformation, agentic tooling, or data-driven optimisation initiatives.
  • Excellent communication, planning, and problem-solving skills.
  • Energetic, proactive, resilient, and able to operate with confidence in ambiguity.
  • Experience in large-scale multi-country, multi-location operations (desirable)
