This hybrid role requires an individual who can effectively manage cross-functional projects, act as a system expert and trainer, and has the ability to identify root causes of process inefficiencies, system issues, and project roadblocks—translating these insights into effective solutions and business cases that support decision-making and long-term improvements.
Key Responsibilities:
Project Management (80%)
· Plan, lead, and execute projects including automation initiatives and compliance-driven projects.
· Collaborate with Finance, IT, and other cross-functional stakeholders to define project scope, objectives, deliverables, timelines, and resources.
· Manage project risks, timelines, and status reporting to ensure on-time and in-scope delivery.
· Ensure alignment of project outcomes with financial and business goals.
· Proactively identify root causes of process inefficiencies or project issues and propose data-driven solutions.
Finance System Support, Training & User Enablement (20%)
· Develop, update, and maintain user-friendly training documentation, quick guides, and reference materials for the finance system.
· Conduct training sessions (virtual and in-person) for new hires, system updates, and refresher courses.
· Act as a system trainer and mentor, ensuring finance and business users are confident and proficient in using the system.
· Maintain a centralized training repository and keep materials aligned with system updates.
Qualifications:
Education & Experience:
· Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration, or any 4-year course. MBA or professional certification (e.g., PMP, Prince2, CPA) is a plus.
· 3+ years of project management experience.
· Proven ability to build business cases and present recommendations to senior leadership.
· Experience in delivering user training and creating documentation.
Skills & Competencies:
· Excellent project planning, coordination, and stakeholder engagement abilities.
· Strong analytical and business writing skills to articulate initiatives in business terms.
· Skilled in data analysis tools (e.g., Excel, Databricks) and documentation platforms (e.g., LMS, SharePoint).
· Excellent communication, stakeholder management, and influencing skills.
· Ability to work independently in a fast-paced, results-driven environment.
· Strong organizational and problem-solving capabilities.
· Hybrid-work arrangement across multiple time-zones.
Preferred:
· Experience in a multinational or financial services environment.
· Exposure to regulatory frameworks (e.g., SOX, IFRS, GAAP).
· Knowledge of process improvement methodologies (e.g., Lean, Six Sigma).
