Regional Director, Capital Works - UK / EMEA 

Reporting to the Managing Director, Managed Office. The UK/ EMEA Regional Director – Capital Works has leadership and line management responsibility for the capital works delivery programme comprising project and commercial teams across The UK and EMEA. This will include working with internal and external resources ensuring clients requirements are captured accurately, priced and delivered to the same and ensuring exceptional levels of customer service are attained, both internally to our Clients / Accounts teams and externally to our clients and partners. The position is a key strategic role and will be part of the managed senior leadership group in region.
 

What will you be doing? 

  • Ensure all company governance requirements are implemented in relation to Capital Works delivery
  • Support and drive IT initiatives as they apply to Capital Works project implementation
  • Work in tandem with Sales and Enterprise teams to develop, lead and grow the Managed business. Provide capital works inputs in relation to new Managed Office opportunities
  • Working closely with existing managers and people leaders to develop our existing talent whilst ensuring high quality recruitment of new talent as well as the creation of succession plans and development pathways.
  • Build and maintain credible supply chains that can deliver excellence in region and match our growth plans.
  • Support Regional Growth. Deliver solutions seamlessly in new territories
  • Product Evolution – provide support to any and all new product evolution in terms of evaluation and feedback of the product, provision of resourcing to support product sprints, piloting of the product during evolution and continuous feedback to deliver success
  • HSE – act as the “in region” champion for all HSE matters, metrics and initiatives pertaining to Capital Works
  • Documentation Retention – Ensure the Capital Works team are creating, saving and filing documentation so that it can be retained and recalled as required during and post completion of the project works.

 

Who are we looking for?

  • 10+ years relevant experience in commercial property/ real estate related activity
  • Proven ability to grow clients through excellent relationship management
  • Strong operational experience and knowledge – managing and leading teams
  • Strong commercial acumen, experience of P&L ownership/management and the development of commercial solutions. Sound understanding of budgeting and commercial/ financial processes
  • Strong organizational skills
  • Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written (including excellent presentation skills) across all levels of an organization. Experience writing client and delivering presentations and reports
  • Passion for operational delivery and process
  • Technically proficient and excited by appropriate new and emerging technologies. Previous experience of owning the future vision for a technology tool or platform and leading technology roll outs
