Website UI UX Designer 

 

Remote Work can be based in South Africa, Poland, Portugal, Czech Republic, Romania, Malta, Cyprus 

 

Job purpose 

This person will support the Digital Product Director with two parallel phases of work. The first will focus on improvements to existing designs and tests designed to increase traffic, engagement and deliver a strong ROI. These designs will require pragmatic and practical solutions, whilst also being simple and attractive. The second focus will be on designing and implementing a new IWG Design System for use across over a dozen brands, in over 50 languages, and over 110 countries. This will be the cornerstone of all digital development across IWG brands for the foreseeable future.  

Job scope 

Using your UX design skills and experience you will design and create compelling content across multiple web pages.  

  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams including product managers, developers to define project goals, user flows, and interaction models. 
  • Conduct user research and usability testing to gather insights and validate design decisions, iterating on designs based on feedback and data analysis. 
  • Create wireframes, prototypes, and design mockups using industry-standard tools like Figma to communicate design concepts and user interactions effectively. 
  • Translate user requirements and business objectives into intuitive and engaging user experiences, ensuring consistency across all touchpoints and platforms. 
  • Work closely with development teams to ensure successful implementation of designs, providing guidance and support throughout the development process. 
  • Stay updated on emerging trends and best practices in UX design, conducting competitive analysis and benchmarking to inform design decisions and drive innovation. 
  • Advocate for user-centered design principles within the organization, evangelizing the value of UX and promoting a culture of continuous improvement. 

Background and experience 

  • Qualified UX designer who is able to use the full range of web design tools 
  • Figma is our preferred tool of choice  
  • Previously developed Corporate websites that have increased traffic, engagement and delivered an increase in sales.  
  • Excellent attention to detail.  
  • Strong communication skills. 
  • Works collaboratively with colleagues from other teams to deliver results. 
  • Able to work independently.  
  • Resilient and self-motivated.  
  • Ambitious and career motivated.
